Navigating a changing landscape
Greenlyte had developed a breakthrough hybrid DAC-hydrogen technology, but the story around it was difficult to tell. At the same time, the broader climate-tech market was crowded with competitors who had already shaped expectations, even though Greenlyte’s model was fundamentally different. Adding to the complexity, the market drivers for climate-first solutions were shifting. Greenlyte needed a way to clarify its role, differentiate from competitors, and show how its technology answered today’s most pressing industrial energy needs.
Leading with the story
We partnered with Greenlyte to reshape their brand narrative and give them a category-defining story. Through a series of strategy and discovery sessions, we reframed Greenlyte from being seen as a climate-tech company to being positioned as an energy company, one that powers resilience and enables entire industries to transition away from fossil dependence. The concept of Liquid Solar became the linchpin of this story: a clear, compelling way to describe how solar electricity can be transformed into liquid energy, unlocking the fuels and chemicals that hard-to-abate sectors depend on.
Making technology tangible
The refreshed Greenlyte brand and website placed the Liquid Solar narrative at the center of the company’s identity. The homepage introduces the idea with a bold visual and simple explainer, making an otherwise complex process accessible to any visitor. User journeys were structured to guide different stakeholders, from industrial customers seeking reliable and cost-effective fuel solutions to technology partners looking for seamless integration and efficiency gains. Messaging and design reinforced key use cases such as sustainable aviation fuel, where both regulation and supply pressures create urgent demand. The result was a cohesive story and identity that positioned Greenlyte as the pioneer of Liquid Solar and a leader in the circular carbon economy.
