MakersHub

MakersHub is a platform solving a deeply rooted operational challenge for businesses of all sizes - the complexity and inefficiency of managing payables. Founded by operators who personally experienced the limitations of existing tools, MakersHub goes beyond traditional OCR with proprietary data extraction, intelligent automation, and granular financial control. The platform serves finance leaders across construction, manufacturing, professional services, nonprofits, and beyond, united by a common need for more intelligent, reliable payables management.
From operational depth to brand confidence
MakersHub had built a product customers loved and the technology was genuinely differentiated. But the brand and website weren't telling that story. The existing identity risked appearing too "startup" in a category where buyers are risk-averse and the cost of switching tools is high. Meanwhile, the competitive landscape was a sea of sameness following typical minimalist trends with interchangeable layouts, forgettable color palettes, and little emotional resonance.
MakersHub needed to feel as established and trustworthy as a financial institution, while still conveying the innovation and agility that made its technology category-defining.
Precision identity evolution
Through discovery and collaborative workshops, we identified that the brand didn't need reinvention, it needed elevation. The team gravitated toward a refined evolution of the existing identity retaining the vibrant green as a core differentiator while introducing a deeper, off-black palette that signaled maturity and sophistication. A new typeface added visual weight and stability, balancing the letter mark with a sense of permanence.
The visual system was designed to flex across contexts from product-centric website layouts to sales decks, social assets, and conference materials, while maintaining the consistency and restraint that a serious financial audience expects. Gradient treatments and modular patterns drawn from the letter mark created depth and continuity across all brand touchpoints.
A website built to convert
Moving onto the website, the biggest challenges to overcome were the team's ability to make updates without developer involvement, and the minimalist approach which undersold MakersHub's capabilities. Prospects would land on the site and wonder whether the platform was built for their industry or leave before understanding the breadth of what it could do.
We rebuilt the site on Webflow, prioritizing three key objectives. Clearly communicate the depth of MakersHub's technology, make the site accessible to finance leaders regardless of industry, and optimize every page for conversion. The information architecture was restructured around the universal problem MakersHub solves rather than narrow industry categories, with role-based and sector-specific pathways layered in to validate relevance without creating silos.
Custom form flows, a critical piece of MakersHub's existing conversion infrastructure were preserved and enhanced, maintaining API integrations with their backend while simplifying the user journey. Purposeful animation was introduced to demonstrate the platform's sophistication without overwhelming or distracting, bringing the product experience to life in a way static screenshots never could.
What began as a brand and website engagement has evolved into a long-term partnership. We continue to support the MakersHub team as an embedded extension of their marketing team, delivering ongoing support across brand, web development, content, and campaign execution.
