With a recent acquisition, Consumer Edge became the only provider of Global transaction revenue signals. Consumer Edge was looking to reposition itself as the market-leading provider of consumer transaction data across the landscape of companies, public investors, and private investors. The Consumer Edge team approached Wunderdogs for a brand refresh to bring the brand up to date and better represent the evolving nature of the business.
Consumer Edge has evolved, creating new revenue streams and targeting an expanded audience of financial services and corporate customers. As the audience has grown so has their reach. As a provider of truly global insights, we wanted to develop a brand that clearly spoke to the global nature of their offer that also clearly represented the deep customer understanding and relationship focus of their team.
The team is known for its transparency, coverage, timeliness, and accuracy. As such we explored a visual language that brought to life the coming together of different attributes. The graphic language using transparencies and overlays speaks to the hidden insights they find in the data. A dark theme and high-contrast colors work to bring attention to key elements and the sense of focus the team and business bring to their audience.
Our identity lends itself to a web experience that captures that same sense of analysis and detail. The UX/UI was developed in such a way as to provide a seamless experience from page to page. Subtle animations create a fluid flow like the connection between two data points. A dark theme and tonal colors mixed with pops of contrast bring attention to key content when needed. The overall aesthetic creates a sense of authority, trust, and reliability positioning Consumer Edge as an advanced data provider, giving its users unparalleled access to insight that drives critical decision-making.
