NFT’s are complicated. Unless you are familiar with blockchain technology and have the skills and knowledge to manage the various processes it can be incredibly difficult to purchase an NFT. Supermojo want to make the process simple by allowing purchase through traditional payment methods but in a safe, secure and easy to manage way. Our identity development had to appeal to those that understood this world and those that were completely new.
NFT’s and blockchain more generally has grown out of the desire for decentralization. As such there is no right or wrong way to visually build a brand. Supermojo in their need to appeal to wider audience wanted to balance the energy of the NFT world with the credibility and trust of more mature developed financial and consumer focussed technology brands. As such our identity development focussed on striking a balance between vibrant colours with a retro feel and white space to aid navigation and clarity. The combination of crisp illustration and hand drawn elements adds personality to the brand while grounding it in a technology space.
Taking the visual identity through to digital application, meant finding the opportunities to be expressive while creating breathing space which helped the brand communicate simply and clearly. We aimed to provide a user friendly experience to help reach the widest audience, particularly those that are unfamiliar with the NFT and blockchain worlds.
Supermojo launched their new brand at Permissionless – the largest DeFi conference in history – with the goal to drive talent to apply and join the growing Supermojo team. In the meantime, we keep furthering our partnership by collaborating on their solution’s UX/UI.
